HS process is good for 10Gbps optical communication amplifiers as
well as high speed digital circuits. This HS process has a variety
of HBT geometry such as 1finger 1x4, 1finger 2x4, 1finger 1x10, 1finger
1.4x10, 1finger 2x10, 1finger 2x20, 2finger 2x20, 4finger 2x20um2
which are all available in VBIC HBT models. Eight kinds of HBT geometries
can provide more flexibility of different applications to the MMIC
designers.
For applications of Optical Communications such as TIA, Laser Driver
(10 Gbps), High Speed Digital Circuits, WLAN etc.
